Well, lets see. My day began with a body that did not want to get up. I so wanted to hit snooze but my crying 4 month old reminded me that sleeping was not an option. At least he sleep until almost 8:00! Well my morning officially began at 6 when the alarm went off for my husband. It makes going back to sleep almost not worth it, but laundry and dirty dishes does not sound like a motivator to crawl out of bed. So at 8:00 we were all up and moving. The arguments began...who decided to squirt toothpaste all over the counter? Is it really worth a 10 minute argument? REALLY? At 8 a.m.? My kids thought so. :) Then we moved on to breakfast and being as payday is tomorrow our food supply is low again. So of course "Mom, there's nooooooottttthing to eat!" So we settled on bread and butter. Then we began school. We open with prayer and bible time. We have a friend that lost her baby at 7 months pregnanat this morning(please pray for her and her husband), but my kids hearts shown thru this morning as they all wanted to pray for her. Then we move on to the work. Somedays are just so hard to focus. We made it all the way to 10:00 without too much argument and then it was recess time. The bummer about homeschool is that when it rains we have to gym to play in...so we just run around the living room. Back to work we went. Lunch at 1:00. In the meantime I am cleaning off our bookshelf. At least organizing it. That turned into a 2 hour job...not recommended LOL And my job as teacher is put on hold every 3 hours to feed Torbin. He is such a breathtaking relief though. He is my sanity at times. A break away if only for 15 minutes. We cleaned up some of the house. It seems to have gotten way out of control. But there is always tomorrow. Daddy came home at 4:00 and the kids love that time of day. The rain made our day not so exciting though. We did school and cleaned. Then the kids had computer time while I cooked dinner. Breakfast for dinner was a hit tonight! Eggs, bacon, cheese, potato casserole. Mmmmmm good! Then Josh and I vegged on the couch watching NCIS as always and played with Torbin. Showers began at 7 (because we once again have lice, does anyone out there have any tips????!!! I am starting to lose my mind over these stinkin' bugs!) Kids were all in bed by 8...and it was "alone" time. We watched the new "Flashforward" show and I give it 2 thumbs up. Then I packed lunch while he watched CSI. Then to bed we go...now I type and he sleeps. Sorry for my boring day. Maybe the rain will go away and I can have more exciting times for you. My Lesson Of The Day : If mom does not get the first cup of kool-aid, there will be none left in the pitcher for her later when the chores are done. :)
